PATTERNS OF GRANDEUR

This large oil painting on canvas, is the second piece I'm entering into the Spring Salon Exhibition at the Springville Art Museum of Utah. This Slot Canyon scene is my attempt to take back some of the domain that has always been claimed by great photographers. A painter can possibly bring a rich, vibrant interpretation as well as any photographer. This painting for this Spring, 2018 Salon, will be paired with the Sierra Meadow piece.
